Battery size describes maximum storage, not the amount that must be restored every day. Designing for rare zero-to-full events can add cost without improving the normal routine.
Respect every link in the chain
Actual charging power is limited by the lowest-capacity part of the circuit, charging equipment and vehicle onboard charger. A high-rated wall unit cannot force the car to accept more power.
Continuous-load rules, conductor size, breaker rating and installation method are safety questions for a qualified electrician. Product marketing should never replace a site-specific electrical assessment.
Choose for reliability and scheduling
Hardwired equipment can reduce connection points, while plug-in equipment may be easier to replace. Either approach should use listed hardware and a suitable location with cable reach and weather exposure considered.
Smart schedules are useful when utility rates vary by time. Confirm that either the vehicle or charger can apply the schedule consistently, and avoid competing schedules in both devices.
